1. About Us
These Terms govern your use of the eFreights / BalkanLogistics marketplace (âPlatformâ). The Platform is operated by Balkan Logistics & Development (âweâ, âusâ, âourâ).
2. Our Role
We provide a digital marketplace that introduces shippers (âClientsâ) to transport providers (âCompaniesâ). We are not a carrier, freight forwarder, broker, insurer, or party to the transport contract between Client and Company.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
- Company accounts must upload verification documents; approval is at our discretion.
- You are responsible for preserving the confidentiality of your account and limiting access.
4. Posting & Proposals
- Clients may post requests. Companies may submit proposals and fees.
- Once a Client selects a Company, Platform fees (see §5) become due.
5. Fees & Payments
Platform fees are shown before confirmation and are payable by the relevant party. Payment may be via card or bank transfer and can be reviewed manually. Our services are deemed delivered when contact details are released to both parties.
6. No Warranty; Liability
The Platform is provided âas is.â We do not guarantee availability, accuracy of listings, or user performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses.
7. Compliance & Acceptable Use
- No fraudulent posts, bids, or attempts to circumvent fees.
- No harassment, abusive language, or illegal content.
- Companies must comply with applicable transport, customs, tax and safety regulations.
8. Disputes Between Users
Our Resolution Center facilitates communication; suggestions are non-binding unless both parties agree in writing.
9. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten marketplace integrity.
10. Intellectual Property
The Platformâs software, branding, and content are protected by IP laws.
11. Data Protection
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Where we act as a processor for Companies, our Data Processing Addendum applies.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use means acceptance of the latest version.
13. Governing Law
Unless mandatory local law applies, these Terms are governed by the laws of [insert jurisdiction].
